Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports as young as 14. Aspen Ladd started training in BJJ, kickboxing, wrestling and boxing before her professional debut at WCFC at the age of 18. Ladd became more confident after her win, and she won three fights at Ultimate Reno Combat. Her opponents were all defeated by the start of the round. In WCFC Ladd was able to defeat Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous decision. Aspen had already defeated Silvia Baeghian and Maddy Simmons, before taking on Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia beat Aspen with a majority vote. The loss put a mark on Ladd's amateur record. Ladd defeated Roma Pawelek on Tuff n Uff, and increased her amateur record to 8-1. Aspen made her pro debut in the year 2015, when she signed to Invicta FC. She fought Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11, where she dominated her in the first round to win a TKO. Invicta 16 also saw Aspen rise up to Bantamweight after winning her fight with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen employed the strong skills she had learned in wrestling to defeat McGill. Aspen ended her bout via an KO (3rd round) (elbows, punches). Aspen was then in a fight with Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18 at weight of catchweight (138.1lb), as Ladd had missed weight. In spite of this, Aspen was able to take on Hoy. She finished her by KO in the 2nd round. As for her final fight for this promotion, Ladd defeated Sijara Eubanks by an unanimous decision in Invicta FC 21. Her UFC debut was on UFC Fight Night 118 when she fought Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina with a ground-and-- - hit her for an TKO win in the second round. Her dominance grew and she got a bigger win in her subsequent fight with Tonya Evinger at UFC 229 Ladd defeated Evinger to the punch in the initial round, she was awarded a performance of the night bonus. She fought her first big fight in her debut fight at the UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. Ladd was the winner of the night's fight bonus after both fighters fought an intense combat. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie was able to finish the fight in just 16 seconds and finish Ladd and her streak. Yana Knitskaya, in the UFC 7 ESPN 7's 3rd round, lost to Randamie. As a replacement she took on Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. She lost the fight via unanimous decision.
