She was born in Santa Monica, California on 26 November, 1986. She is the daughter of her father Vincenzo Barba, and mother Valerie Barba. Her family and she moved from Point Pleasant New Jersey when she was six years old. She completed her high school education within New Jersey at Red Bank Catholic High School. After that, she went to Catholic University, where she received a diploma in architecture. When she was 4 when she started playing the violin. She earned the name Violin Girl. Due to her performance her performance, she received the name of Violin Girl. Children from her community were taught to play violin through her. She performed Free from 1976 in the auditions for the sixth season of American Idol when she was age 19. The show eliminated her when she was ranked 16th. She performed a number of songs including 'The Christmas song in 2009' and 'Out for Blood' 2010 among others. Also, she has appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, as well as various other television shows.
